DIRECTIONS
CAST ON
With circular needles, CO 110 sts using smaller
7MM needles. Join, taking care not to twist sts, and
pm for EOR.

COWL
K1, P1 around until your work measures 5”.

CABLE ROUND
Knit 2 rounds.

K1, CNF next 3 sts, K3, then K3 from cable needle,
K6*. Repeat from *. You will be left with one (1) st.
K1.

Knit 3 rounds.

K1, CNB next 3 sts, K3, then K3 from cable needle,
K6*. Repeat from *. You will be left with one (1) st.
K1.

Knit 1 round.

Repeat all 8 cable rounds until work measures 5”.

Next round: Bind off your first 56 sts. Switch to
bigger size needles (8MM). You will now be working the cable portion in rows on 54 sts. Add 2 markers for the 2 extra sts at the start and end
for the garter edge.

K2, sm, knit all sts up to last 2 sts, sm, k2 (RS).

K2, sm, purl all sts up to last 2 sts, sm, k2 (WS).

K2, sm, k1, CNB next 3 sts, k3, then k3 from cable needle,
k6*. Repeat from *. You will be left with one (1) st. k1, sm, k2 (RS).

K2, sm, purl all sts up to last 2 sts, sm, k2 (WS).
