DIRECTIONS
CAST ON
With circular needles, CO 148 sts. Join, taking care not to twist sts, and pm for EOR.
COWL
Knit 3 rounds.
Next round: *P3, K3, repeat from * 2 more times, P3. Place your 2nd marker. You should have a total of
21 sts in between both markers. Repeat this round until your basket weave section is 4 rows high.
The basket weave section must always be 4 rows high before alternating.
Next round: Slip marker, K3, P3, repeat from * 2 more times, K3. Slip the 2nd marker. Knit to the end
of the round. Alternate between these two (2) every 4 rounds until your work measures 5” high from the
beginning.
